Looking for a fun, easy and creative way to celebrate Valentines's Day? This is it! Super simple 'lollipops' using Stampin' Up!'s Sweet Treat Cups.
I finally ordered a box of 12 treat cups (for only$2.95 - that's about $0.25 each) and when I realized they would be perfect with the Scallop Squares Duo die.
Ta da!
The DSP (Designer Series Paper) is from the Holiday Mini Catalog and the stamp set is in the current Idea Book and Catalog (IBC) - Sweetheart.
I used Pink Pirouette card stock for the back of the 'lollipop' to make it sturdy and then punch a heart on each piece so the candy comes out the back. Just pull the tab!

And, there's a fun little surprise inside - besides the chocolate :-).
I used the Tiny Tags stamp set and stamped a little message on the pull out tab. That when, when it's empty and closed there's a fun message and if you pull the tab all the way out, there's a cute little note.
Too fun!
And, this week's challenge at Pals Paper Arts is Valentines...so go on over get inspired by the amazing creations and play along for some blog candy too.
EDIT: I found that using a glue stick was best for holding the stick in place. A little glue on either side of the stick and then adhesive all along the base really holds it well.
