I turned my workspace upside down and inside out today trying various embellishments, color combos, and finally came up with this card. I wanted to play withe something new and rediscovered the lace in my box and made a little flower out of it with a button from my button jar.
Using this sketch from this week's MOJO Monday (MOJO111) challenge, I layered Kraft card stock with Bella Bleu Designer Series Paper and a little bit of Vanilla card stock punched with the eyelet punch
I found this piece of decorated, sticky chipboard, I picked up months ago at the local scrapbooking store and thought the sentiment would work perfectly.
Then, I sewed the 'flower' added some pre-cut pieces from Sizzix "Bird with Leaves & Flowers", a button with twine, a couple of pearls, and then a piece of Very Vanilla inside.
And now a major mess to clean up - LOL!!! It sure was fun.
