Wow! Clear Mount Stamps from Stampin' Up! (Finally!)

Over the past few years, there has been enormous demand from
demonstrators and customers alike for a line of repositionable
clear-mount rubber stamps. Well, you asked for it, and now you have it!
Starting with stamps in the 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog and the 2010 Sale-A-Bration Brochure, Stampin' Up! now offers our exclusive stamp art in both traditional wood-mount, and the new clear-mount option.
Our
new clear-mount rubber stamps are the result of extensive research with
the intent to maintain the very best image quality in the stamping
industry, while at the same time offering the ease-of-use and
storability inherent in repositionable clear-mount rubber stamps.

- Blocks have ergonomic grooves on all four sides for easy grip and traditional wood-mount feel.
- Stamps and blocks are durable and easy to clean with your Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist.
- Optional image labels on stamp backs let you decide if you want to see the image through the block or not.
- Tight die-cutting for easy image positioning.
- Large clear blocks can be used to create collages or spell words with alphabet sets.
- Stamps store easily in standard, DVD-type cases with artwork on front and spine, making organization easy.
And, they are so easy to use.
My stamps arrived on Monday, and I couldn't wait to dive into them (amidst holiday shopping, gift making, and regular activities).
They arrive in a DVD style case of clear plastic with the label on top for easy identification and stack beautifully.
(I love that they are all the same size. Fits my OCD nature - haha.)
They stack up for easy storage and it's easy to find the set that you are looking for with the images along the spine.
How (easy) to use:
1. Open your case (this is the Vintage Vogue Set)and you'll find your typical rubber stamp from Stampin' Up! along with the clear adhesive labels.
You may notice that the images are die-cut tightly to the image for more accurate placement.
2. Separate the stamps.
They just pop right out like normal - no cutting required.
Just press and pop them out of the rubber die!
3. Remove the backing of the label - there are little slits cut into the paper to make this easier.
Be careful on the smaller ones as they can come off the page.
Using the slits makes it much easier to pull off the backing and leave the image on the pages so all you have to do next is...
4. Remove the backing from the stamp and line up over the label.
And then lift it up off the page.
If any of the label hangs over the edge, just snip with your scissors to remove any excess of the adhesive label.
5. Ta da!
Go ahead and do this with the rest of your stamps and you are ready to stamp away to your heart's content.
Here are the stamps on the blocks. Note: These are not Stampin' Up!
acrylic blocks - my blocks will arrive soon but in the meantime, these
will do.

If your stamps aren't sticky, just dab a little water on the label side and smear it around. (Or lick them - kinda gross but it works.)
Here they are finished and back in their case. To see a completed project, click here.
Of course, there are many more projects to come, between baking, knitting, sewing, wrapping presents and packing for the holidays!
All these and more available January 5, 2010!
